Our core focus is for the inclusion of all people, including people with intellectual disabilities (ID),physical disability, vision impairment, hydrocephalus, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, Autism spectrum disorder, mental illness and hearing impairment in mainstream health policies and laws, programming, and services, training programs, research. Tunaweza Foundation advocates for strengthening of health systems to reach the vulnerable persons living with disabilities with information and inclusive services that respond to their health needs.
How we work;
- Providing technical support for the development and review of National policies and guidelines on Sexual Reproductive Health under RMNCAHN
- Inclusive health advocacy focusing on facility accessibility for persons living with disabilities.
- Social media campaigns on inclusive health for All.
- Offering free counselling services through our toll free Numbers to women and girls with disabilities.
- Partnerships to carryout awareness trainings on Gender Based Violence faced among women and girls with disabilities.
