Building resilience, mentoring to drive innovations and wealth.
Youths and women with disabilities are exposed to recurrent cycles of vulnerability that increases their risk of Gender Based Violence. Building their resilience requires increasing their ability to protect themselves, make firm decisions, adapt and grow independently. Tunaweza Foundation provides access to skilling trainings and mentorship opportunities that turn their ideas into transformative solutions.
How we work;
Skilling and livelihood clubs for women and youths with disabilities are trained in practical skills acquisitions.
Equipping of the most vulnerable with financial literacy trainings and village saving SACCOs
Empowering of women with disabilities economically hence eliminating all forms of violence against them.
