Inspiring youths with disabilities to lead!
To ensure that young people living with disabilities have space to participate meaningfully in programme development processes, it is important to create an inclusive environment for their engagement. Tunaweza Foundation works with youths with disabilities, the government and other stakeholders to improve youths with disabilities participation and link them to decision making platforms.
How we work;
- Building leadership of young people living with disabilities and networks to advocate for their rights and their full participation in decision making.
- Ensuring that youths with disabilities take charge of their future,We empower, create and appoint disability ambassadors who can stand up for their rights and implement inclusion policies in communities.
- Social media campaigns focusing on raising voices for youths with disabilities.
- Convening government, civil society, donors, the private sectors and youth led organizations to advocate for more investment in youths with disabilities as a development policy.
