Laura Ioana Isac is currently studying Social Work in Aachen, Germany. She works in an organization that helps women who are victims of human trafficking and forced prostitution. She is a volunteer at MediNetz an NGO that provides medical care for people without insurance and member of a working group for international students in her university. Beside that she loves travel and visited over 60 countries. Through her travels she has done a 3-month internship in Nairobi, Kenya in a rehabilitation center for children and youths that live in Korogocho Slum. It was during that time during her travels through East Africa when she meets Victo Nalule, and she got interested in Tunaweza Foundation work. Her topic of discussions are politics, critical whiteness, racism, human rights, and intersectionality.
